We are always interested in hearing from motivated students and researchers whose interests align with the lab's work in reinforcement learning, optimization, robotics, and applied AI.
We welcome applications from prospective PhD, MASc, and MEng students, as well as undergraduate research assistants and visiting scholars with backgrounds in operations research, computer science, electrical & computer engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, or a closely related field.
Strong candidates typically bring a foundation in probability and optimization, familiarity with Python and modern machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, or similar), and a curiosity for research at the boundary between theory and practice.
PhD applicants should also apply through the official MIE Graduate Studies channel at the University of Toronto.
Fill in the form below and a member of the lab will contact you as soon as possible.
